Designing covers for my films has been a last and usually enjoyable step in the process. I don’t often have much time to spend on it tho and that has bothered me more and more as the days go by. I hope to one day have real movie posters created for each film that really speak to the essence of the moments captured. Until then I try my hand at layout and look for something special in the composition. Here are a few covers that I liked but didn’t make the cut. Check out the cover I chose for Tiffany in Furious Love.
By the way, for the artists out there, I created the color separation in these images by using sunlight thru the windows on the right, and then unfiltered hot lights pointed mostly at the wall on the left. Tiffany standing in the middle separated the different colors the 2 light sources created and I was able to enhance that in post production.
