The DSLR generation can shoot, edit and score an HD film in a day, something unheard of just a few years ago. Now CafeGlow is looking for a small elite team of DSLR directors… the best of the best, to help us deliver the most stylish films on the web.

The CafeGlow Directors Program is an open call to filmmakers around the world.

You MUST have erotic work in your portfolio to be considered because it is one of the most difficult types of video shoots to put together. If you can find models, wardrobe and locations to get shoots done that look really really good… no, really great, then we want to see your work.

    I really want to learn more about this, do this. My skills as a shooter are so far from getting there though. I asked you this via vimeo, and you eluded to not having the time. That understood, as I don’t have time either, but would you consider a video tutorial or series of tutorials/clinics. I would even Pay $3.99, hell $10.99 for the videos with your “directors commentary” over them. I want to know everything from finding models/subjects willing to do this, to how you select lens vs. environments, to what filters you play with in post.

    I love the female form and this crazy world of digital video/film. I would really like to hear how you monetize this as well as display it as an art form.

    Clearly this comes down to taste and talent and I’m not naive enough to think you can or are willing to just hand out this information, but there are enough of us out here that are willing to look past the simple physical state and see the expression of the story teller. Many of whom would put learned techniques into every production I do.
