As much as the story of Ehko Island is fiction, it’s also real life. If you’ve been paying attention you’ve seen the onslaught of images and now video that can be created in seconds by AI. It is already changing the way we see each other and fooling so many into believing things that aren’t true.
All the Black Mirror moments in this story are or will be possible, and each month they grow more and more likely.
AI will drip into every part of policing, using data and prediction to control.
But what is going to happen when AI can perfectly replicate any woman, past or present, and be installed into hardware that looks and feels like her? What does that do to humanity? To relationships? To peace?
Ehko Island is a fantasy. We are looking through erotic eyes so we mostly see hot naked legs and pretty delicious feet. But this future is coming.
