Harry Houdini once said, “What the eyes see and the ears hear, the mind believes.”
When we began production on Ehko Island that quote played a role in how we handled audio. Instead of just music and the occasional sound fx, Chloe narrated the entire thing. And instead of just reading it, she laid out a comfortable place and really took the time to enjoy how sexy the words felt to say, and imagine. She ended up enjoying it as much as we hope you will, and sometimes she even goes off-script, because it feels that good, and tells you what she is really thinking. We left all that in the final piece.
You should know that Chloe also wrote it, and she designed it to celebrate male desire for sexuality. Like, an erection is not often looked at as sexy. A boner should be concealed. Most women don’t want to watch a man give himself an orgasm. But on the flip side, hard female nipples make men and women excited. Everyone loves a woman’s ass, and watching a girl get herself off is something people line up to see. Those are generalizations, but Chloe took those and threw them out the window. In the writing, in the voiceover, you will feel how much she loves that this story turns you on, and she will be right there with you, urging you to not hold back.
